CIRCLES
Circles are an in person, one hour, recurring monthly event, offered and led by a member of Opus Dei for the Cooperators who wish to be more active in their spiritual development.
The Cooperators Circles follow a series of topics reflecting the spirit of Opus Dei and generally take place in the home of a participant. Ample opportunity to get to know the group leaders and to connect to a smaller group of women may be an important feature of the Cooperators Circles.
The Cooperators Circles are not a substitute for the monthly Recollections. The Recollections have their own series of topics lead by the Priests of the Prelature. Prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and ample opportunity to speak to the priest are key features of the Recollections.
The Cooperators Circles are scheduled around a specific group of Cooperators, generally about 6 -12 women, who commit to meet monthly to receive this manner of spiritual development. Not all Cooperators choose to participate in these monthly events. However, some Cooperators do opt to join a monthly Circle. Several locations are offered in the DC metro area and the Maryland suburbs.
